Mais uma banda nova Carioca surpreendente surgindo na cena com força de gente grande. Hell Oh! A banda nos presenteia com algo energeticamente inspirador. Apesar da semelhança no timbre de voz do Raphael com a do John K. Samson (The Weakerthans). Nada muda, ao contrário, acrescenta-se ai rifes alegres, com astral acima da media, que inconscientemente nos leva a bater os pés enquanto ouvimos.

Os meninos Vinicius (guitarra), Maycon (baixo), Tulio (bateria) e Raphael (voz e guitarra) se uniram em agosto de 2011 na cidade de Nova Friburgo (RJ). As referencias musicais são bem variadas, passa pelo punk, surf music, grunge, blues, garage, mas definição não é o mais importante, o importante é ouvir e tirar sua própria conclusão.

Gravaram em 2012, 5 músicas no Estudio Superfuzz, dando origem ao primeiro EP. Conseguiram ótimas críticas dentro e fora do Brasil. Essa receptividade toda lhes garantiram importantes festivais, dividindo palcos com bandas como Altoramas e Folks.

Vale ouvir cada faixa, mas vou deixar um video da música que abre o EP dos meninos, “Hell oh!” Se vale a pena??? Confira e depois tire suas próprias conclusões.

Another new band Carioca emerging on the scene with amazing strength of great people. Oh Hell! The band presents us with something energetically inspiring. Despite the similarity in tone of voice of Raphael with the John K. Samson (The Weakerthans). Nothing changes, on the contrary, adds to i rifes cheerful with astral above the average, which leads us to unconsciously tap their feet while listening.

Boys Vinicius (guitar), Maycon (bass), Tulio (drums) and Raphael (voice and guitar) joined in August 2011 in the city of Nova Friburgo (RJ). The musical references are varied, passes through punk, surf music, grunge, blues, garage, but the definition is not the most important, the important thing is to listen and draw your own conclusion.

Recorded in 2012, 5 songs at Estudio Superfuzz, tracks that are on the first EP. Achieved critical acclaim in Brazil and worldwide. This whole receptivity assured them important festivals, sharing the stage with bands like Altoramas and Folks.

Fidlar é uma banda despretensiosa e amante das coisas simples da vida, como andar de skate e tocar rock and roll. Nascida em Los Angeles, é formada por Zac (vocals, guitar), Brandon (bass), Elvis  (guitar, vocals), Max (drums).

 A história da banda começou a tocar em 2009, e acreditem, foi um acidente que os transformaram numa das novas sensações da surf music. O vazamento de suas demos fez nascer o primeiro EP da banda “DiyDui” e mais tarde com o crescimento dos pedidos lançam o “No Waves/No Ass” pela Mom+Pop em 2011. Trabalhos novos foram lançados em 2012 também.

A banda não tem muito material gravado, mas o que têm é genial e muita energia. Para quem gosta do gênero, uma boa dica para conseguir os álbuns dos garotos e ficar de olho nos novos lançamentos.

Fidlar is a band unpretentious and lover of the simple things in life, like skateboarding and playing rock and roll. Born in Los Angeles, is formed by Zac (vocals, guitar), Brandon (bass), Elvis (guitar, vocals), Max (drums).

 The story of the band began playing in 2009, and believe me, it was an accident that turned one of the new sensations of surf music. The leak of their demos birthed the band's first EP "DiyDui" and later with the growth of applications launch the "In Waves / In Ass" by Mom + Pop in 2011. New works were released in 2012 as well.

The band has not recorded many songs, but what is great and have lots of energy. For those who like the genre, a good tip to get the albums of the boys and keep an eye on new releases.

:: ENTREVISTA COM THE LUPPIES ::

Fomos conferir o show da banda  The Luppies no Centro Cultural Rio Verde no último dia 21, show oficial de lançamento do primeiro EP da banda + Vídeo Clip. Mas antes disso, como já postamos aqui, acompanhamos um show pocket no estúdio Nimbus em São Paulo dia 16 de maio.  Isso tudo rendeu para nós do ILS um material muito bacana que agora vamos  dividir com vocês.

Falando do último show, a banda caprichou no lançamento do EP e do Video, deixou a disposição dos fãs Kits exclusivos que estavam a venda com camisetas, bottons e o tão esperado EP.

The Luppies entrou no palco pouco depois da 0h.  Vestidos a caráter, os rapazes fizeram um show  marcado pela energia  e claro, pela dose genial de bom humor . Os garotos se divertiram e divertiram a todos que estavam lá pra conferir a performance da banda.

O setlist contou com as três músicas do EP, My Old Man, Miss Lojo e Last Song e mais cinco músicas inéditas que entrarão nos seus próximos trabalhos, além dos covers  “I´m so bored”  da banda Wavves , “Spread your love” da Black Rebel  Motorcycle Club e a curtíssima “I'm So Sad, So Very, Very Sad” do filme Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Como dito aqui, reunimos materiais de algumas entrevistas que fizemos com os rapazes do The Luppies e compilamos alguns trechos destes bate papos, esse material em vídeo é o primeiro do ILS,  a idéia do ILS é aprimorar esse formato e estender isso para todo o blog.

We watch the show the band band The Luppies  at Centro Cultura Rio Verde in the last 21 days, show the official launch of the first EP + Video Clip. But before that, as already posted here, we watched a pocket in the studio Nimbus show in Sao Paulo May 16. This all yielded to us the ILS a very nice material that we will now share with you.

Speaking of the last show, the band worked carefully on the release of the EP and video, fans left the provision of exclusive kits that were selling t-shirts, buttons and much anticipated EP.

The Luppies took the stage shortly after 12am. Dressed in character, the guys did a show marked by energy and of course, the great dose of humor. The boys enjoyed themselves and entertained everyone who was there to check out the band.

The setlist featured three songs from the EP, My Old Man, and Last Song Miss Lojo and five new songs that will come in their next jobs, plus covers of "I'm so bored" of the band Wavves, "Spread Your Love" Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and the very short "I'm So Sad, So Very, Very Sad" Scott Pilgrim vs. the movie. The World.

As stated here, gather materials we did some interviews with the guys from The Luppies and compiled here some excerpts of these chats, the video material is the first of the ILS, the idea of ILS is to improve the format and extend it to all blog.
