Olá pessoal! Estive pensando... eu poderia escrever de forma ininterrupta sobre “as promessas ” segundo a crítica para 2012, pois banda bacana é o que não falta, ouvi mais de 300 nesses dias e novidade é o que mais temos. Mas vou dar uma pausa, pois temos também bandas não tão novas escondidas e que merecem nossa atenção, prometo que ao longo dos meses vou incluindo coisas bacanas desta lista.
Vou fechar então com duas bandas: uma banda Americana chamada SLEEPER AGENT e outra Londrina chamada THE PROPER ORNAMENTS.

SLEEPER AGENT é uma banda americana formada em Bowling Green, Kentucky. Seu álbum de estréia, Celabrasion, foi lançado em 27 de setembro de 2011, ou seja, novinho. Antes de ser físico, o álbum teve o lançamento digital em 2 de agosto no Itunes. A revista Rolling Stone observou o grupo como uma "banda para assistir" antes do lançamento do Album.
A banda foi descoberta pelo produtor Jay Joyce, que os levou para gravar o álbum de estréia “Celabrasion”. O primeiro single do álbum, "Get It Daddy", foi caracterizado como "Single Grátis da Semana" iTunes "no final de Julho / início de agosto do mesmo ano. As influências, incluiem The Pixies, The Black Lips, Shazam Foxy, e Cage the Elephant.
O som da banda é espontâneo e cheio de energia e que provoca positivamente os sentidos. Destaque em 2011 e promessa para 2012, Sleeper Agent virou o ano em turnê, aguardem novidades. Vou deixar aqui “force a smile”, coisa que muita gente faz, não é mesmo?

THE PROPER ORNAMENTS - pop psicodélico que nasce no cenário Londrino em 2010. Formato por Claps Max e Hoare James. Os dois se conheceram em uma loja de roupas femininas em Notting Hill Gate em uma situação de roubo cometido por Max. Desde então a amizade dos dois progrediu musicalmente e em 2010 eles lançaram o EP “Reccaling”, fantástico! Em 2011 lançam “Talking the Gamble out of byuing” que com a faixa “Who Thought” faz uma confirmação definitiva do estilo dual vocal da banda.
São amantes dos The Beatles, o que fica muito claro ao ouvir. A história inicial da banda não é diferente de muitas outras, orçamento curto, capricho na produção e gravação limitada de faixas. Mas com uma vantagem... eles estão na Inglaterra, não preciso dizer mais nada, constroem com excelência uma promessa importante no cenário undergrond.
“Who Thought” é a música que escolhi pra deixar, não temos ainda álbum a vista para ser lançado, mas acompanhem de perto o progresso caso gostem, vale a pena.
