In Lost Sides está de volta, não com a mesma frequência de outros tempos, mas voltamos aos poucos devido a falta de tempo e de mão de obra, mas vamos lá.

Como sempre, nós no ILS sempre somos surpreendidos pela Cena nacional, bandas extraordinárias. Brunna Buzollo, uma mineira de nascimento que adotou São Paulo como metrópole do coração nos presenteia com músicas maravilhosamente gostosas. Com Influências no Blues/Rock com passagens pelo Groove e Folk.

Brunna Foi uma garota precoce na música, seu talento nato está justificado na sua qualidade como música autodidata desde os 13 anos quando tocava violão e Guitarra e já compunha suas próprias canções.

O EP Simple Distortion é o álbum de estréia de Brunna, e marca um momento de transição de sua vida, pois ele nasce como fruto de sua passagem pelo Paraná onde fez oceanografia e decide ir para São Paulo para se dedicar a carreira a Música.

A Banda hoje é formada por Derek Gonzales (guitarra e voz) Rafael Garga (bateria e voz), Pedro Dona (baixo e voz) e Letícia Rezende na produção. Para acompanhar agendas e outros passos da banda, acessem o facebook.

In Lost Sides is back, not with the same frequency of other times, but we came back slowly due to lack of time and manpower, but come on.

As always, we at ILS are always surprised by Brazilian scene with bands extraordinary. Brunna Buzollo a mining which took birth as São Paulo metropolis heart presents us with songs wonderfully to listen. With influences in Blues / Rock with stints Groove and Folk.

Brunna was a precocious in music, his knack is justified in his capacity as a self-taught music since I was 13 years old when he played the guitar and guitar and has composed his own songs.

The Simple Distortion EP is the first album of Brunna, and marks a transitional moment in his life, because he is born as a result of its passage through the Paraná and oceanography where he decides to go to São Paulo to devote his career to music.

Fizemos uma entrevista com os garotos do Sin Ayuda logo depois da turnê Norteste no final de 2012. Nesta entrevista pra lá de discontraída, além de falarmos da história da banda, muitas curiosidades bacanas sobre os bastidores desta tour nordeste apoiada pela Popfuzz e as histórias que fizeram parte da gravação do EP Boat no sítio Israel em Sta branca no interior de São Paulo.

Sin Ayuda gravou "Pare de Sonhar com Estrelas Eistantes" de Ronnie Von (1969). E Não para por aí, dia 18 de março será lançado em parceria com a popfuzz records (AL) a MIXTAPE "Mantra Reggae Punk" instrumental gravado totalmente ao vivo em paralelo as gravações do Boat EP no sitio Israel em Sta branca (SP)

We did an interview with the boys from Sin Ayuda after the tour in late 2012. In this interview we talk about the band's history, many curiosities cool about this backstage tour in northeastern Brazil supported by Popfuzz and stories that took part in the recording of the EP in Sta White Boat in São Paulo.

Besides chat, worth a lot to say earlier this year Ayuda Sin attended the 3 major festivals of Grito Roc (Rock Scream),  Grito Rock,  
Grito rock Taubaté
grito, Grito Rock Ituiutaba  (First time festival at MG) and Grito Rock Jaú.

This month March, 14th, Ayuda Sin celebrates their participation in the collection of the Blog Celebrates It Self about psychedelic music, where 5 + 5 international bands Brazilian bands are versions of songs from the 60s. Ayuda Sin recorded  "Pare de Sonhar com Estrelas Eistantes" de Ronnie Von  (1969). And do not stop there, March 18 will be launched in partnership with Popfuzz records (AL) to MIXTAPE "Mantra Reggae Punk" instrumental recorded completely live in parallel recordings of the EP Boat in Israel in sitio Sta white (SP)

IN LOST FEST

Dia 1 de Dezembro o Blog IN LOST SIDES realizou um grande sonho, o de poder de alguma maneira colaborar com a cena do Rock Brasileiro. IN LOST SIDES não conseguiria isso sem o apoio de pessoas que também amam o que fazem assim como nós. Norton Bell, Vini Marmore, Digão, Nimbus Studios, Ricardo, Ponto Pro Rock, Art Show Comunicação Visual e E Comunicação Visual, foram algumas das figuras mais importantes que tornaram isso possível.

Foram meses de luta, de expectativa e preparativos e 4 bandas convidadas. Whyever, The John Candy, Nitrokill e The Luppies. Uma data mágica de muito Rock and Roll invadiu o Studio Nimbus, fazendo da noite de 1 de Dezembro um marco para a história da cena alternativa.

December 1st Blog IN LOST SIDES held a grand dream, help with a hard work the Brazilian rock scene. IN LOST SIDES not get it without the support of people who also love what they do as we are. Norton Bell, Vini Marmore, Digão, Nimbus Studios, Ricardo, Ponto Pro Rock, ArtShow and E Visual Communication, were some of the most important figures who have made this possible.

It took months of struggle, of expectation and preparation and 4 guest bands. Whyever, The John Candy, Nitrokill and The Luppies. A very magical date of Rock and Roll invaded Studio Nimbus, making the evening of December 1st a milestone in the history of the alternative scene.

X So Pretty

Apesar do nome no singular (she´s so pretty) a banda apresenta um "pretty" trio feminino a frente do palco, contando com Nanda Cury nos vocais, Michele Bertholdo na guitarra e Pamella Vapsys no baixo e completando a formação Ciro Figuerêdo na bateria e Luiz Arnault nos teclados.

Formada em 2008 a banda tem como inspiração bandas oitentistas sendo fácil notar em alguns momentos influencias do New Wave, mas as influencias nao param por aí, bandas mais recentes como Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foster the People, Vive La Fete e CSS, tudo isso resulta em um som dançante e cheio de energia com destaque para as linhas de baixo bem suingadas e bem trabalhadas.

Em 2011 lançaram o seu primeiro EP homônimo, esgotando-se rapidamente das prateleiras da Livraria Cultura, no final do mesmo ano lançaram também o single da música Blim Blom e em 2012 fizeram parte do line up do Palco SP Indie da Virada Cultural de São Paulo.

Mutus

A correria e os preparativos para o In Lost Fest nos deixou um pouco afastados do Blog, mas vamos retomando, afinal, a música não pode parar.

Desta vez vamos falar de uma banda instrumental paulista formada na baixada santista. MUTUS começou sua história nos anos 00 com reuniões despretensiosas no estúdio Tubarão em Santos.

Foi então em 2012 que os amigos Bruno Bortoloto (guitarrista), Ivo Escobar (baterista) e Paula Magário (baixista) revolveram materializar o fruto destas reuniões. Surge então  o primeiro EP (homônimo) da banda.

As 4 faixas fazem um mix bem interessante que passa pelo blues, progressivo, anos 70 e muita energia. É possível baixar o EP na íntegra e sem custo, confira aqui neste link.

Lack of time and preparations for the Fest In Lost left us a bit away from the blog, but let resuming after all, cannot stop the music.

Today we will talk about an instrumental band formed in São Paulo, Santos region. MUTUS began its history 00´s with the studio meetings unpretentious on Tubarão Studio, Santos.

It was then in 2012 that friends Bortoloto Bruno (guitar), Ivo Escobar (drums) and Paula Magário (bassist) decided materialize the result of these meetings. Then comes the first EP (self-titled) of band.

The 4 tracks are a mix quite interesting passing through blues, progressive, 70s and a lot of energy. You can download the EP in its entirety and without cost, check out this link here.

IN LOST SIDES - SP POP FEST - Entrevistas, Impressões e registros

Nos dias 24, 25 e 26 passados, aconteceu no Centro Cultural Walden o primeiro SP Pop Fest, e como nao podia deixar de ser o INLS esteve conferindo os shows do dia 25, sem muito nos alongar e detalhadamente comentar sobre tudo, vamos passar as impressões que tivemos dessa noite fantástica.

Inicialmente fomos muito bem recebidos no Walden pelo Cesar e Mariana, que mesmo na correria que estavam com o pessoal da Ringo Deathstarr, nos receberam muito cordialmente antes da casa abrir, isso para que pudéssemos fazer as entrevistas com The John Candy e Le Almeida.

Um Bate papo super descontraído e cheio de novidades com The John Candy abriu nossa tarde de informações undergrounds. Logo depois, por conta do volume de publico que já começava a chegar na casa, fomos para um buteco na esquina da Marques de Itu com a Bento Freitas pra tomar uma cerveja e papear com Lê Almeida pouco antes do show, em suma, tivemos dois bate papos super interessantes com duas das cinco bandas da noite, bate papo esse que você vai conferir em breve aqui no nosso blog.

A segunda noite do SP POP FEST foi aberta pela banda The John Candy que fez um show fantástico, mais tarde Top Surprise arrebentou com noise no talo, em seguida Loomer com grande maestria segurou o ritmo da noite, Lê Almeida tocou muitas músicas inéditas que estão pra sair no disco novo, um privilégio pra quem foi conferir e Pale Sunday fechou a noite do Abrigo no Bosque.

 Destaque muito importante também nesta noite, foi a presença da banda Ringo Deathstarr, que foi curtir de perto as bandas do sábado, uma demonstração digna de nossos aplausos por tamanho respeito e carinho pelo evento e pelas bandas.

E por fim, deixamos a impressão de que só faltou mesmo um bolo de aniversário pois o clima de festa e de alegria estava muito vivo em todos presentes.

Com saudades deixamos nossas impressões mais felizes e positivas possíveis e aguardem pois publicaremos na integra as entrevistas com The John Candy e Le Almeida com direito a material que será sorteado para os participantes de nossa página no facebook.

We were 25 last Saturday to accompany the second day of the SP POP FEST at the Cultural Center Walden. There tonight performances of the bands The John Candy (RJ), Top Surprise (MG), Loomer (RS) Le Almeida (RJ) and Pale Sunday (Jardinópolis - SP) set the tone for the party in the Forest Haven.
Without much detail stretch and comment on everything, let's move the impressions that we had this fantastic evening.

Initially we were very well received by Cesar and Mariana, who despite being busy with the staff Ringo Deathstarr,, received us very gently before the open house, so that we might do the interviews with John Candy and The Le Almeida.

A Chat super relaxed and full of news with The John Candy opened our undergrounds informations. Soon after, due to the volume of audience who had begun to arrive at the house, went to a corner of bar on the corner Marques de Itu street and Bento Freitas street for a beer and chat with Le Almeida shortly before the show, in short, had two super interesting chats with two of the five bands of the night, this chat will give you soon here on our blog.

The second night of the SP POP FEST The band was opened by The John Candy who made a Fucking good show, later broke with Top Surprise noise in the stalk, then Loomer with great mastery held the rhythm of the night, Le Almeida played many new songs that are hard to get out again, it was a privilege for those who give and Pale closed Sunday night at the Shelter Grove.

Featured also very important tonight was the presence of  Deathstarr Ringo band, which was closely enjoy the bands on Saturday, a show worthy of our applause size by respect and affection by the event and the Brazilian bands.

And finally, we leave the impression that only lacked even a birthday cake for the party atmosphere of joy and was very much alive in all present.

:: Hyper and the Hi-Fi ::

Essa é mais uma daquelas agradáveis surpresas que surgem repentinamente e nos alegram. Em conversa informal dias atrás com um amigo nosso, ele nos apresentou Marie Tchibi, integrante do duo Hyper and the Hi-Fi. Estabelecido o contato com Marie aproveitei para ouvir algumas músicas da banda enquanto conversávamos. Me surpreendi com a dupla (Marie Tchibi - guitarra e voz e Joe Olivetree - bateria e voz). Mais uma vez fiquei feliz e impressionado com o que ouvia, eu disse pra mim mesmo depois, estou ouvindo isso no Brasil! É uma banda Brasileira!!!

As influências da dupla passam por bandas como Kasabian, Boom Boom Satellites, Artic Monkeys mas inconscientemente consegui ainda encontrar traços de Gobble Gobble e Vive la Fete mas é justamente essa mistura de “essências musicais” que mais me chamou atenção.

Hyper and the Hi-Fi faz uma mistura  fantástica, a dupla que vive em São Paulo, se conheceram pela internet em 2012. Marie Tchibi trabalha com moda mas o tédio bateu a sua porta e resolveu formar uma banda. Através de um site de classificados de músicos ela encontrou o estudante de direito Joe Olivetree, alguns encontros depois começaram os ensaios em seguida fazer as primeiras gravações.

Atualmente a banda prepara novas canções e ensaia sua apresentação ao vivo. Em breve lançará novo material em conjunto com produtores brasileiros e dinamarqueses, que chegaram até a banda depois de ouvir suas músicas na internet.

Existem planos para gravação do novo EP e Turnês que em breve traremos aqui no nosso blog. Vou deixar o Video oficial de “Hostage” e o EP Completo para que possam curtir.

This is another one of those pleasant surprises that arise suddenly and cheer us. In an informal conversation days ago with a friend, he introduced us Marie Tchibi, a member of the duo “Hyper and the Hi-Fi”. Established contact with Marie took the opportunity to hear some songs from the band while we talked. I was surprised by the double (Marie Tchibi - guitar and vocals and Joe Olivetree - drums and vocals). Again I was happy and impressed with what I heard, I told myself then I heard it in Brazil! It is a Brazilian band!

The influences of the double pass through bands like Kasabian, Boom Boom Satellites, Artic Monkeys but unconsciously I could still find traces of Gobble Gobble and Vive la Fete but it is precisely this mix of "musical essences" that caught my attention.

“Hyper and the Hi-Fi” is a fantastic mix, the duo who lives in Sao Paulo, met on the internet in 2012. Marie Tchibi works in fashion but boredom knocked at his door and decided to form a band. Through a site classified as musicians she met a law student Joe Olivetree, several meetings later started the tests then make the first recordings.

In less than a month with a profile in Brazilian site Trama Virtual, the band reached the Top rank fourth among 100 selected bands and also the most heard.

Currently the band is preparing new songs and rehearse your presentation live. Will soon release new material together with Brazilian producers and Danes, who came to the band after hearing their music on the Internet.

There are plans for recording the new EP, tours soon we will bring here in our blog. I'll leave two very good songs "Hostage" and finally "Nothing to Prove."

Comodoro

Tudo começou em 2005, onde cinco amigos que estavam no show dos Stooges resolveram montar a sua própria banda. Fazendo um rock sujo, curto e grosso, como eles mesmos dizem, a banda paulistana Comodoro conta com Grull nos vocais, Billy na guitarra, Cronfli no baixo, Chubas na guitarra e Azedo na batera.

A partir dái a Comodoro nao parou mais fazendo shows no underground paulistano, até que em 2008 resolveram entrar em estudio para consolidar toda a barulheira (no ótimo sentido) em seu primeiro álbum "Acabou o Bailinho", prensado em apenas 1000 cópias e que simplesmente evaporou do mercado para a surpresa dos rapazes, o álbum conta com 10 músicas, "Ain´t Rigth", "Twist my Balls", "Burnin´", "Asssnatch", "Bowlin´fer Souls", "Golden Teeth", "Garrafa da Desgraça", Tonigth", "Ahead of You "e "Olhos" que podem ser baixadas no Facebook oficial da banda.
Junto com o álbum veio também o premiado clipe com a faixa de abertura do álbum "Ain´t Right", que infelizmente ficou  fora do VMB daquele ano por motivos políticos devido a cena final do mesmo. 

Não demorou nada para o álbum chamar a atenção do público e  da crítica rendendo apresentações na MTV e no Multishow, além de um lugar no disputado line-up do festival Maquinaria de 2009.

Este ano a banda promete seu segundo álbum "Síndrome do Pântano" que esta prestes a sair, e que segundo eles será o "segundo atentado contra a frescura do indie rock atual".

Nós do INLS tivemos o prazer de conhecer o Billy Comodoro em seu estudio "La Casa" e ele nos prometeu uma entrevista exclusiva assim que o novo trabalho sair, vamos aguardar ansiosos.

It all started in 2005, where five friends who were on the Stooges show decided to form his own band., doing a dirty rock and short, as they say themselves, the band has Grull (vocals), Billy (guitar), Cronfli (bass), Chubas (guitar), Azedo (drums).

This year promises the band's second album "Síndrome do Pântano"  and that they say will be the "second attack on the freshness of the current indie rock."

We had the pleasure of meeting Billy Comodoro in his studio "La Casa" and he promised us an exclusive interview as soon as the new work release, we will wait anxiously.

Cafe Bizarre

 O Roquenroll não morreu e digo mais, esta longe disso acontecer e a cada dia tenho mais essa certeza, pois tenho conhecido ótimas bandas na cena nacional que trabalham muito para que isso não aconteça, uma delas é o Cafe Bizarre.

A banda nasceu em 2002 e de acordo com os rapazes foi um encontro quase que predestinado entre Joe Joe e Julio Abbud que através dos seus gostos musicais em comum, a vontade de se divertirem e de trazer de volta o bom e velho roquenroll, sem frescuras (como eu sempre digo) os uniu nessa empreitada.

Cafe Bizarre passou nesses anos por outras formações e chegaram até a "encerrar as atividades" em 2006, mas em dezembro de 2011 voltaram com força total, mais consistente e mais divertida do que nunca contando com Joe Joe nos vocais, Julio Abbud na Guitarra e vocal, Frank Hoenen no Baixo e Paullo Amaro na Batera.

Com letras tanto em ingles como em portugues e uma pegada forte com riffs rasgados, baixo suingado e bateria enérgica, lançaram em julho passado o primeiro EP Little Junkie Monkey que conta com 4 músicas Little Junkie Monkey, Welcome to the Cats Crib, Cigarettes e Menininho Glam que podem ser conferidas no Soundcloud dos rapazes e não para por aí, a banda já esta preparando o seu segundo EP que sairá em novembro ainda deste ano.

The Rock n Roll not dead and I say again, this happens far from it and every day that I have more certainty because I have known great bands on the brazilian scene who work hard for that not to happen, one is the Cafe Bizarre.

The band was born in 2002 and in accordance with the guys was an almost predestined encounter between Joe Joe and Julio Abbud that through their musical tastes in common, the desire to have fun and bring back the good old Rock n Roll, no frills (as I always say) brought them together in this work.

Cafe Bizarre spent those years in other formations and reached the "close down" in 2006 but in December 2011 returned more consistent and more fun than ever featuring Joe Joe on vocals, Julio Abbud on guitar and vocals, Frank Hoenen on bass and Paullo Amaro on drums.

 With lyrics both in English and in Portuguese and with ragged riffs, bass and drums swinging vigorously, release last July, the first EP Little Junkie Monkey featuring four songs Little Monkey Junkie, Welcome to the Cats Crib, Cigarettes and Menininho Glam it can be listen on boy´s Soundcloud, and do not stop there, the band is preparing their second EP which will come out in November this year yet.
